Help forge our future to achieve our ambition

There has never been a better time to live, visit and work in Dudley

Just 30 minutes west of Birmingham, sits the borough of Dudley, the historical capital of the Black Country, with its rich industrial heritage that forged the heart of the industrial revolution - a history steeped in innovation, drive and determination.

Fast forward to the present and those historical traits are embedded within the modern culture of Dudley and the borough is a vibrant, multi-cultural hub with strong communities, beautiful parks and open spaces and a mix of shops and restaurants.

Currently at the heart of a multi-million-pound regeneration plan, there is significant investment in the borough with several key projects including the new Midland Metro infrastructure, a new Institute of Technology and a very light rail innovation centre.
