Chief Executive

SALARY: £149,662 per annum*

The post holder will:

  • have a service and major project portfolio and lead and inspire a team of managers and employees.

  • support the Chief Executive in setting the council’s strategic direction.

  • when appropriate, deputise to provide strategic leadership, act as ambassador for the borough and the council, and ensure the overall successful and effective delivery of council services.

Director of Digital, Customer & Commercial Services

SALARY: £98,015 per annum*

The post holder will:

  • lead a portfolio of functions and services in a directorate, delivering high quality and cost-effective services through effective customer and stakeholder engagement.

  • be responsible for Heads of Service and Senior Managers delivering ICT and digital services, Customer Services and Procurement and Commercial.

  • support the Deputy Chief Executive in strategy development and partnership working, the work of the directorate and the wider council.

*The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period.  This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
