THE VACANCY
Director for Neighbourhoods
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £130,000 per annum plus benefits
Location: Dudley
As Director for Neighbourhoods, you will lead some of the council’s most visible, valued, and wide-ranging functions: -

Waste & recycling, energy from waste plant management, household waste, commercial/traded and recycling provision

Street cleansing, street furniture maintenance and public realm strategy

Grounds maintenance, nature reserves, parks and countryside, rights of way, green care, open spaces and tree management
-
Community development & empowerment, community Safety, ASB, travellers’ services

Leisure, libraries, community access points, historic and community assets and cultural events

Visitor economy, bereavement and registration

Out-of-hours emergency Response
Your leadership will have a direct impact on residents’ day-to-day lives, creating pride in place, safer streets, greener spaces, and vibrant communities.
