THE VACANCY
Director for Neighbourhoods
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £130,000 per annum plus benefits
Location: Dudley
As Director for Neighbourhoods, you will lead some of the council’s most visible, valued, and wide-ranging functions: -

Waste & recycling, street cleansing, and our energy from waste plant

Grounds maintenance, parks and countryside, green care and tree management
-
Street furniture strategy, public rights of way, and open spaces
-
Community development & empowerment, community Safety, ASB, travellers’ services
-
Leisure, libraries, community access points, historic and community assets and cultural events
-
Visitor economy, bereavement and registration

Out-of-hours emergency Response
Your leadership will have a direct impact on residents’ day-to-day lives, creating pride in place, safer streets, greener spaces, and vibrant communities.

A confident communicator and adviser to Chief Executive, Members, and key partners.
